It's finally over!!

Antshillvania 2006 ended successfully last night at UCC. like, thank God! everyone was so stressed the whole of yesterday, esp the teachers of K1 and K2. well i don't really have much to say, cos i'm not exactly very involved in the whole concert, but i've got pics to show! some are rather hilarious, i must say.

anyway, rushed down by cab after the choo brothers left school at 5.30pm. reached UCC's dressing room to see 16 kids all hyper and excited, which is a good sign. (and my attire was checked and vetted by molly.. as expected, it was quite a fashion disaster.) hurriedly swallowed my dinner, and then it was photowhoring time! wahahahas. i shall slowly upload the pics and explain one by one =)

wahahahs this was the first pic i took upon arrival. doesn't he look damn sweet? one of the sweetest and most well-behaved K2 kid. someone whom i will occasionally call Daddy Gaspar! and i must say he's the pet of practically every teacher in school. like duh right, just look at him and his behaviour. almost-perfect. it's a pity he's graduating this year.. i want more of such cute, sweet and well-behaved kids in school! brings more laughter and joy to my very-stressed life =)

COUPLE OF THE NIGHT! (courtesy of Teacher Susan) i can't remember why Teacher Susan suggested taking a picture of Gaspar and Athena doing their last pose in Antshillvania.. something about the way they look at each other. apparently she has taken notice of this since the first time they rehearsed. and for once Teacher Susan was damn funny! think the stress has gotten to all of us until we're all abit mad last night. Athena was quite willing to take the photo, but goodness, Gaspar was damn shy! even this morning when i showed him the photo, he turned red and looked away lah. "of course i'm shy lah" was what he told me when i asked him why. tsktsk. kids nowadays.. speechless!

ooooh the two beauties in the K1 class! with Athena on the right and Shannen on the left. poor Shannen was suffering from stomach flu since 2 days before, but thank God by yesterday night she was perfectly fine. (although before the concert actually commenced, she started crying for her mummy.) the two of them really looked good in their costumes yesterday.. especially Shannen, cos both her costumes for the night were damn nice. suits her really well. and i seriously think her mother was too much lah, forcing her to take so many photos after the whole concert when she's already so tired. ah wells. some parents are just speechless.

Anna! the chiobu in the K2 class. i don't know her well actually, cos she's so quiet when with the teachers! but with trisha, then it's a different scenario all together. but poor Anna has been harassed by a certain boy for quite some time now.. which reminds me of Teacher Susan's advice. as i said, she was really damn hilarious last night. i blame it all on stress. i mean, it makes sense right! we do need an outlet to relieve all that stress... hahaha. and and, she's going to my alma mater! (yeah yeah i've only been in that school for one pathetic year.. but i was still a student there right!) i guess she must stay pretty near me.. haha.

well i can't really call them the couple of the K2 class, but their mothers are really really close friends, so close that Gaspar stays over at Anna's place whenever his parents are out of town. even so, these 2 kids aren't exactly the best of friends i must say.. in fact, they don't like to be related together. arghhh i'm still damn sad that these 2 kids that i grew to love have graduated! (although they only leave our school at the end of dec..) i wonder if we'll have such nice kids in future batches.. or at least, while i'm still working at Masterpiece =) but having said that, it's really been a joy being able to get to know them, and get to teach them. okay, i didn't exactly teach them, but you get my point lah. 'nuff said about them.

presenting the K1 class! actually i took individual pics with every single one of the K1s but i'm too lazy to upload. too many lahs. anyway, this class.. they're really sweet, but at times they really make me boiling mad. even though i don't teach them at all, but this class is like, the first class i bonded with. maybe because, this class was the first class that i actually taught. (even though i was just reliefing yvette.) even the things they do really drive me mad at times, but i still love them all the same =) i hate to think about the time when they are all going to graduate from Masterpiece. oh man.

Ashley Mun! this boy.. most of the time he does things that really drives me mad. and i mean, boiling mad. from the time i started working in Masterpiece, i think the only time he was civil to me was when i brought them out to the supermarket with Teacher Susan. after that.. boy did i get hell from him. then you must be wondering, why did i take a photo with him? hahaha. because he kept wanting to take photo, so i took a photo with him. yes i know it's lame, but it's the truth! okay lah, i think if he really decides to be nice and sweet, he'll be one of the teachers' pets too. but too bad lah, reality always defers from our expectations.

okay that's it! actually now i regret not taking photos with joshua and dylan, but never mind i still have one more month to do that. yesterday was very enjoyable! (but very tiring.. considering i slept at 12+ and woke up at 6+ this morning.. omg.) and thanks molly for the 2 boxes of bird's nest! i haven't tried it yet, but presents coming from our boss shouldn't be all too bad lah. =)
