something happened yesterday on my way home which had me smiling for quite awhile =)
I happened to get into the same lift as this couple, and they had their
2 little girls with them.
sidetrack: although they're of different ages, they look the same lah! not to mention wearing same clothes =.=the minute the lift door closed, the
older of the 2 girls told her mummy, "
no i don't want to say hello."
i was still happily listening to my iphone, but i was curious enough to turn it off and pay attention to the girl.
turned out, she din want to say hello to me! i was quite stunned cos in the first place,
i've never seen them before so why would she want to say hello right.
the mum immediately gave me an apologetic look and told the girl not to be rude. but kids being kids, she just kept repeating herself while looking at me.
finally the mum gave up, and said, "okay then, you'll stay in the lift and i'll go home."
you would think the girl would then change her mind and say hello right.
instead, the
younger girl waved to me and gave me a bright smile! it's the kind of innocent kiddish smile that would make you involuntarily want to smile back at her.
of course, when the older girl saw her sister waving to me, she followed suit and said "hello!"
the cutest part was when they got off at the 10th floor, the 2 girls turned back to tell me
"byebye, good night!"it's the little things like these happening everyday, when you least expect it, that will really brighten up the day =))TAG REPLIES!yanshan: hey girl! sorry sorry these 2 weeks can't meet you still, our dear laoren says she's very busy lately. i'll text you soon k? have fun working with the kids! heh heh. trust me, i totally understand your frustations =)ness: thanks dear, but yup feeling better alr =)melia: awww thanks.. i'm feeling better alr =) heh heh my playlist nice right! but dunno what's wrong leh, it doesn't play the whole song anymore =x
